Introduction to Properties¶
Properties are the backbone of an intelligent and searchable Workspace in myReach. Think of them as structured metadata — specific attributes that add context, classification and depth to your Nodes, transforming a simple list of files into a powerful, queryable database.
What Do Properties Do?¶
Instead of relying on basic keyword searches, Properties allow you and your team to:
- 📂 Organise content by specific attributes
- 🔍 Filter through thousands of items with precision
- 🤖 Enable AI agents to classify and distinguish between documents instantly
For example, you could filter all contracts by "Termination Date" or find every technical manual written by a specific "Author" — all within seconds.
The Core Types of Properties¶
myReach offers three main categories of Properties:
